What is it?

From the last post, you realize that I have lots of things that are, shall we say, useless and unnecessary - to put it mildly

So, I found THIS ....
Here is the side view

Here is the top

This is the top removed
This is the inside of the top
.
This is the inside of the bottom

This is the bottom of the bottom

This is a hand made pottery thing... I have no idea what it is or what to do with it.
Any ideas???
Value????
Sell at garage sale, ebay, craigs list, trash it????

I think....again...I think it's a butter saver. My Mom has one, you fill the top with butter and the base with just a little water. Put the top on and the water will rise on sides just a little. It will keep butter real soft and moist for days. You might can google it and find out for sure.

I was going to say the butter thing, too. That is what it looks like to me, anyway.
Thanks for stopping by and visiting during the Believing God bible study today. I'm glad you commented that you have already been through it, so that means I'll survive! It is time consuming! (I have a rebellion problem, too by the way. :-)
Talk to you soon,
Diane

I have no clue what this is. But your post about Aunt Jemimah jars is what inspired me to share my eBay cow story. You may want to eBay some of your stuff. One man's junk is another man's treasure. After we moved the last time, I had a phone system from my old office that I sold on eBay for $400!! It was worth zero to me. You've already got the photo taking and uploading mastered.

Hmmm...I have no idea. I can't wait to hear what you decide to do with it and if you find out what it is.
