I am so glad that we serve a God Who is more than enough and that He provides all our needs according to HIS riches (not our seeming lack!)

Yes, the gas prices are alarming. The food prices are alarming. The cost of everything has gone way off the scales.

However, God is still in control. He is on His Throne, He is in Heaven wondering why we are so concerned since He promised to take care of us better than a sparrow. I have never ever seen a bird depressed over the cost of a worm or bug. Maybe we should take a lesson from the birds and just live to glorify God and sing His praises. He will take care of us!
