I enjoyed reading back a little and chuckle at how much we have in common. Funny how the blog world works... I am just beginning to experience this expression of community. I liked this random post- gave me a place to comment. : )

Merrie,
I stumbled onto your site through Adrienne's and it made me smile in the midst of a VERY bad day. As I was reading I felt a sense of peace and calm wash over me. Like how I feel when I walk into my parents' "HOME". Thank-you. I have been struggling with life and my faith for a long time. Life seems to hand me so many trials, just when I overcome one another two land in my lap. These struggles have been going on for 15 years now, the latest being a major health issue. I marvel at the faith that so many people on the internet have and wonder how to achieve that faith in my life again. I get so broken feeling and wish I could just crawl into bed. Thanks to your blog, I am smiling again today. I only read the a couple of your blog entries today, but congratulations on your precious grandaughter. I love the ultrasound pictures. Thanks for the smile and hope.
