Left Brain - Right Brain explained (sort of)

The left side of your brain looks at things as parts - individual. This is your analytical side. It takes the information and rationalizes it and organizes it. It is also the verbal side. Time and consequences are important.

The right side of your brain looks at things as a whole and not parts - it sees the full picture. Emotions rule the right side and is very much influenced by touch, music, body language. It will go with a hunch or feelings rather than logic. Colors, shapes, pictures bring a response since this is the visual side.

Sometimes, we overuse one side of the brain and the other side goes lacking. It causes problems in the entire body and can lead to burn out, fatigue, headaches, sleeplessness and lots of other frustrations and problems.

So, read the next (or previous) post to get some suggestions on balancing the brain.
