Blogging

I love blogging. It is probably one of my favorite things to do. Write my own and read other's blogs. I try to leave comments on other's blogs. Sometimes, I just have time to quickly read the blog and think I will get back and leave a comment.

I love getting comments because it helps me to know that others are reading and to get their thoughts. That's why I like to leave comments.

It has come to my attention that I have readers who keep up with my life by reading my blog. This is good and I appreciate it.

I have also noticed that I don't get as many personal emails anymore. I realized that people are reading my blog and keeping up with me, but not letting me know what's going on it their lives.

If you happen to be one of those ... PLEASE, let me know about your life. I am far away from home and need to hear about you. I long for communication and updates.... thanks...

(was that pitiful enough to make you want to leave a comment or email me?)

They are called lurkers or stalkers...I know I have some, too on my page! LOTS of them actually. Since I see you or talk to you everyday I figure it's okay to not comment on EVERY single blog entry! Am I forgiven?

Merrie,
Thank you for stopping by my blog. It's a blessing to see you. I read through your blog and see that you are missing a family reunion here in Georgia. I am sorry you have to miss it. I can picture your days growing up. They sound alot like mine, except that we didn't have railroad tracks to play on. But I did love the train ride I got to take in elementary school. It's a shame they don't have those anymore.

I knew exactly what you were talking about with the "coke". : )
We used to walk to this little store up the road from our house and get the penny candy. My favorites were the "Hot fire balls", horehound, pixy sticks and the "candy necklaces". They don't make them like they used to!

Thanks for a run around memory lane and for sharing your heart with me on my blog.

Hugs,
Julie
