My mama is in the hospital. She is 86. She fell several weeks ago and banged up her head. There is blood between the skull and brain. There is swelling in the brain.
She also has cystitis. She is talking jibberish. She can not form words. She won't eat or drink anything. She cries all the time.
Today was better.
They are in Atlanta. I am not.

I saw Grandmama today and she was doing much better this afternoon. She ate three big meals today and managed to make us all smile several times. There was a sign on her door that was Red, White and Blue with a big USA written on it. Trey asked her if that was her name on the door and she turned to him and said 'No, but is your name Fox?' At first I didn't understand but then we realized that Trey's shirt had the word Fox on the front of it. hahahaha!! She is so cute! We gave her lots of kisses and told her that we loved her. We miss you and hope you can come down soon.
Oh, I know this is hard for you. I will keep her and you in my prayers!
You will be in my prayers! Your love is there with your Mom even though your not.
Glad to read the comment that her sense of humor is intact. That is a very good sign. Praying for her and for you to get air conditioning. No one needs to be in a house that is a crock pot!! I could get silly with that comment but I'll let you take that thought from there.
