Sweet little Kendall... She has such a big heart!
Yesterday after she got up from her nap I was holding her. She snuggled against me sucking her thumb. Then, she leaned back with her thumb still in her mouth. I decided to play with her and put my mouth next to her hand and pretended like I was trying to suck her thumb too.
She gave me a funny look and slowly pulled her thumb out, and put it down by her leg... looking at it all the time - concentrating and you could tell that she was really thinking hard.
Then, without taking her eyes off her thumb, she slowly raised it up to MY mouth and very sweetly stuck it in there for me to suck!
It blessed me so much that she would share her thumb with me... I never said a word, she just thought that I wanted it, and she wanted me to have it. Yeah, I cried...
See why I feel so blessed to be close to them and be a part of their lives? That is a cherished moment!

Yeah, it was the sweetest thing! She sure did act unsure about it though when she was doing it...like 'is this what I'm supposed to do?'
It reminds me of that saying, "We do not remember days, we remember moments."
You are indeed blessed to have these moments with your grandbabies.
Awwwww, bless her sweet little heart!
Those moments sure help us when the hectic ones try to take over and make us wonder if it's worth it. YEAH, it is!
You know, she looks a little like your profile pic!
That is a FIRST... nobody has ever said she looks like me. I think she looks just like her beautiful Grammy.
Just precious. I can't wait to be in that phase of my life.
:-) Susan
