Monday all day!

I got up late...

didn't like the outfit I had picked out last night, so had to change - uh! I hate changing clothes.

Work was extremely busy for the end of the month. We had lots out sick so we were short handed.

We had a called meeting at work...

I had a hard time balancing so was late getting home...

Had to go to "town" to buy some vitamins and groceries (mostly vitamins)...

Had a meeting at 7 in "town" - but got there at 6:30 so I could study and do more work on my exam (which I could not get more help on)

Had to go in early because I was spotted sitting in my car... it was a boring useless dead meeting...

Finally after 9 - I turned to the lady next to me and said, "I've GOT to go!" She agreed and we gathered our stuff - said our apologies and RAN out - relieved to be out.

The praise in all this? God is still on His throne.
I was aggressive and confronted the situation and took control. They can go on for hours and hours discussing mute points (is that the right phrase?) if they want, but I had the choice and I didn't want to waste any more time.

Hugsum was proud of me for being bold. I think this getting older is good in some ways. I frankly don't feel the need to get their approval any longer. I can say and do what I need - as long as I'm nice and don't hurt people with my words... (as in the last post where I was critical of a teenager)...

The best part - a new day's coming.... new mercies, new grace, new opportunities... I think I'll go to bed so it will get here sooner and I'll be refreshed and ready!

Well, Monday is over :) Plus, look at the bright side....you got a good laugh in last night :) Who knew Koreans knew how to cook Mexican food anyway?!? And seriously....serve it with chopsticks???? I would have loved seeing someone trying to eat a taco with chopsticks!

Thank you so much for your encouragement on my latest post.
"A Merrie heart doeth good like medicine" are words well spoken. We keep on smiling. Builderman walked in the other day when that song was playing on the radio "It's Gonna Be Worth It" and he just didn't get it. He said "WHAT'S Gonna Be Worth It?" I figuerd he must not have had a bad day recently. : )
