Well, the cat is out of the bag....

Tonight we made an announcement... it is finally okay to let the cat out of the bag.... he's been trying to get out, but we had to keep it quiet.

We let our churches know tonight that our dream is coming true. We are moving close to our children and grandchildren... It is bittersweet because we are also having to move away from dear friends and loved ones here.

Here are three of the (presently) fifteen - and growing - reasons to move. In September we will have FIVE grandchildren under three years old! God has opened the door and made the way.

We have a contract on a house... This is our street sign....
This is our front door...
This is our backyard - designed especially with entertaining the children in mind!
We are praying that everything goes through as planned.
Watch for more updates.... we plan to do lots of fixing up and enjoying.
We just praise the Lord for His goodness and faithfulness in allowing us this time to be close to our children. We are very excited to have that privilege
I would also like to express our thankfulness and love for the people where we are serving. We have seen God move. We have experienced His love through them. It has been a privilege and adventure.
We are blessed.

Awww, congratulations! I'm happy for you. I was hoping you were going to move back to Glennville! LOL Just kidding! I know how much this means to you. Are y'all going to be serving in a church there or is Bro. Steve retiring? Is that possible for him? LOL

Yay! Of course, I knew and we're excited! I just got stressed out a little when reading you'd have FIVE grandchildren all under 3 yrs old...and realized that THREE of them are mine!! CRAZY!! Thank goodness you'll be close to help me...because I'm gonna need it;)

Yes, I have had to be quiet about all this until it was "official". Steve is retiring, but he would still love to serve part-time in a church someplace. We are working on that.
He will not just "do nothing" - he is a worker and will minister no matter what he's doing.
I can hardly wait to be there to help with all the grandkids.

I may be a little silent blogging just because I will be busy packing and cleaning and unpacking and settling in.

You ARE blessed! This is wonderful news!! My parents would give anything to have us closer to them so they could see their grandchildren every day. How wonderful for you guys!!

The house is awesome, too! Man...those kiddies are gonna love that pool!!! :) Perhaps I'll send Mia and JJ down for the summer so they can enjoy it, too!? They can stay with Rebekah. Ha ha!! :)

I just noticed the numbers on the house! 7 stands for completion and you have 2 of those so the completion is complete! :-) And then you have to two's so the agreement is strong :-)

It's going to be a wonderful new adventure.
